Farrukh Systems new Imposition Publisher V4.0 is the first Imposition software to fully support the new Heidelberg Auto Register marks for 6 and 8 colour printing.

At a recent installation of the final beta release at Williams Lea Facilities Management Ltd. in Bristol the new software’s Auto-registration feature has cut down the 6 colour Press preparation time from over 1 hour to less than 15 minutes. Ian Hopson, Pre-Press team leader at Williams Lea comments: "IP4 has drastically reduces our press set up time and allows us to get consistent 6 colour registration. It produces all the necessary print marks for 6 colour printing including registration marks and colour bars. It is also extremely easy to use."

In addition to being fully DCS2 compliant Imposition Publisher 4.0 has a whole host of other new features including a powerful Flatwork module and full PDF workflow support.

Imposition Publisher 4.0 will be available as a free upgrade to any existing Imposition Publisher users with current maintenance contracts. There is also an upgrade program available for users of competitive Imposition software products.
