Farrukh Systems Limited. and Large Format and Pre-Press specialists Ahearn & Soper Inc. who also own West Coast Distributors Casey Johnson Sales Inc. today announced an agreement for the North American distribution of Imposition Publisher and Page Pairer, Farrukh Systems' highly regarded Electronic Imposition software.

The partnership marks the start of a major assault on the N. American market by Farrukh Systems who have an extensive installed base in Europe and who are the only Imposition software developer with Mac, Windows 95/98/NT, Unix and Client Server versions of the product family.

Ahearn & Soper's IMPRINT division will be responsible for sales & marketing of Farrukh Systems products in the USA and Canada. As a national distributor for Encad (Large Format Printers), MicroStation (Digital Printing Systems) and Fargo & Tally (Color Printers) Farrukh Systems' Imposition software is complimentary to Ahearn & Soper's ethos of distributing added value Pre-Press and Graphics Arts hardware and software solutions.

This new North American distribution contract coincides with the launch of Page Pairer 2.1, the only Imposition software developed exclusively for the needs of the newspaper printing industry. Page Pairer has already been adopted by several prestigious titles including Le Figaro in France and The Boston Herald in the United States.
