Imposition Publisher X (10.1.2) Released

Imposition Publisher X (10.1.2) is a maintenance release, fixing a number of recently reported problems. The most significant are listed below.

Both the Mac Standalone and the Windows Server are available now. The Server for Mac OS X and Solaris should be available in the next week.

New Demo Version Behaviour

Issues Resolved in this Release

1. Fixed a crash when opening a job saved with the first file switched off
2. Common Western European accented characters now output in the Text Label
3. Fixed the signature mark to start at a letter or number other than A or 1
4. Fixed DCS custom marks
5. Fixed spreads for Right to Left reading languages
6. The spreads setting is now inherited when Inherit Page Size is selected
7. Now report an error when mixing PDF and PostScript files in the same job
8. Print mark positions and offsets display 3 decimal places rather than 2
9. Fixed a speed issue when there was a large number of devices and mark sets
10. Fixed issues with Chinese (Type 3) fonts with large number of images
11. Certain imposition templates were not imposing properly in the Windows Server
12. Process colour separations from the Spanish version not recognised by the rip when merging separations to generate a composite proof

The standalone program is currently available for Macintosh only (Mac OS X, 10.2 or higher required, 10.3 or 10.4 recommended). Multi-user Client Server versions are available, with the server running on either Windows (2000/XP/2003) or common flavours of Unix operating systems (currently Solaris and Mac OS X).

If you are an existing customer, within your warranty period or maintenance contract, you can download and use this version. However you will need to contact Farrukh Systems Technical Support to obtain a new Release Code.
