for Immediate Release
Farrukh Systems and DK&A, Merger Cancelled
London, England. –June 1st 1999– The merger
between Farrukh Systems Ltd. and DK&A, Inc, is officially cancelled
according to Farrukh Khan Managing Director of Farrukh Systems.
The merger, which was to have been finalised this month would
have brought together two of the leading suppliers of electronic
Imposition software worldwide. Commenting for Farrukh Systems, Managing
Director Farrukh Khan said "Unfortunately we could not agree on
the valuations of the two companies. We have parted company in an
amicable manner. Farrukh Systems will now be looking to consolidate
its position as the leading Imposition software supplier in Europe
and to make some serious inroads into the North American marketplace.
Our sales are up over 25% over last year and our profits have doubled.
DK&A’s interest in Imposition Publisher and the market analysis
that was done during merger negotiations show that our products
can be competitive in the United States. It is our intent to exploit
this opportunity over the coming months".
