Imposition Publisher Supports Quark 7.3 and InDesign CS3

Farrukh Systems are proud to announce that the latest release of their flagship product, Imposition Publisher, includes support for PostScript files generated from QuarkXPress 7.3 and Adobe InDesign CS3.

For nearly two decades Imposition Publisher has been the prepress industry's simplest to use solution for professional imposition. It is a standalone imposition program with the full range of functionality required by the modern print publisher. It works with PostScript or PDF files. Imposition Publisher is available as a standalone version on Mac OS X or Windows, or as a Client Server version with the server running on Windows, Solaris, Mac OS X and Linux.

The latest X.1.3 release contains updated drivers for QuarkXPress 7.3 (Mac and Windows), Adobe InDesign CS3 (Mac and Windows) and Acrobat 8.1 (Mac and Windows)

Imposition Publisher X was rewritten especially for Mac OS X and is simple to use, yet powerful enough to handle complicated imposition jobs. The Job Preview window, new to Imposition Publisher X, allows you to check that the pagination is correct and that the job is aligned correctly for your output device. This release also contains translations for English, German, Spanish, Italian and Greek native speakers.

The new release is available immediately by electronic download, for customers that are in warranty or with a current support contract.

Demo Version Behaviour

Both the standalone and server versions have a Demo mode, whereby full functionality can be activated for 3 days to allow prospective customers to try the software with their own files. Contact us for more details.

The standalone program is available for Macintosh only (Mac OS X, 10.2 or higher required, 10.3 or 10.4 recommended). Multi-user Client Server versions are available, with the server running on either Windows (2000/XP/2003) or common flavours of Unix operating systems (currently Solaris and Mac OS X).

If you are an existing customer, within your warranty period or maintenance contract, you can download and use this version. However you will need to contact Farrukh Systems Technical Support to obtain a new Release Code.
