Imposition Publisher v4.5
Available Now
v4.5 is a long awaited release, bringing the features on the Windows version
into line with the Macintosh version. See below for
more details on what has been changed in this release.
The standalone program is available for both Macintosh and Windows computers.
Multi-user Client Server versions are available, where the standard standalone
programs act as the clients to a powerful centralised server, running
either Windows (NT/2000/XP) or the most common Unix operating systems
(Solaris, SGI, Mac OS X and Linux (x86)).
Mac OS X Compatibility
If you are an existing customer, within your warranty period or maintenance
contract, you can use the updated software with your existing Release
Code.
For sales or upgrade enquiries, call +44 20 8207 4249 or email sales@farrukh.co.uk.
If you are new to Imposition Publisher, you can download
a Demo version of the standalone programs which will work with your
own PostScript/PDF files, with some restricted functionality.

New Features in v4.5
- Imposition Publisher v4.5 Macintosh and v4.5 Windows are compatible
with the each other. Client Server users can use a mixture of Macintosh
and Window clients, sharing impositions, flatwork documents, mark sets
and device settings.
Issues Resolved in v4.5
- A PostScript limitcheck error has been eliminated. (This only occurred
rarely, with very complex pages.)
- The Signature Mark letter now appears at the bottom of the first
page of a section.
- The Demo version allows previewing.
Issues Resolved in v4.2.4
- Rampage (and other EPS-based) workflows. A Preferences dialog item
allows you to add a file extension onto the output file name.
- Server versions - Inherit Page Size and Inherit Margins did not work
correctly in v4.2.3
- The Collating Mark can now be edited to start at a particular section.
- The CPC 4 mark now separates correctly in a composite CMYK workflow.
- Switching from a composite job to a colour separated job could cause
the Print Options dialog colour choice to stick on Colour Ignore. For
separated jobs, Colour All is now the default choice.
- Could not preview if the output filename ended with .eps
- PDF Processing - pages could be out of position in the imposed file,
particularly if non-standard page sizes.
- The Rampage drivers have been updated to handle jobs that do not
contain any process colours.
Issues Resolved in v4.2.3
- Signature letter in Signature Mark and User Label was incorrect if
you had multiple sections in one block.
- Saved File List with moved pages could open with a different number
of pages to how it was saved.
- Colour separated workflow with recombination of imposed separations
for proofing - now have conforming %%Page: comments.
- PDF Processing - Non-centred pages with correct TrimBox information
are now processed correctly.
- PDF Processing (Acrobat 5) - Incorrect page ordering occurred when
pages switched off or moved.
- PDF Processing (Server, Windows NT) - Pages moved from another file
could cause the job to fail.
- PDF Processing (Server versions) - Pages switched off could cause
the job to fail.
- PDF Processing (Server versions) - Flatwork Print with pages from
more than 1 file failed.
- Server version reported wrong number of pages in rare cases (ArtQuest
driver).
- Server version (Windows 2000) - Could not print or download to a
network printer.
